Job Summary
Gastroenterologist sought to join MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center in the Des Moines metro. The successful candidate will provide outpatient GI services with no daily call, with inpatient coverage optional, and 24/7 GI hospitalist support. The role includes opportunities to teach residents and medical students, participate in an integrated endoscopy suite, and collaborate with in-house anesthesia, interventional radiology, cytopathology, and colorectal surgery. On-site advanced therapeutic GI services are available, and the position offers a competitive package including a 2-year income guarantee ($700,000 base) plus a $150,000 sign-on bonus, CME $6,000, paid malpractice, and 403B match.
