Job Summary
Conduct gastroenterology procedures including ERCP in a newly renovated practice with state-of-the-art endoscopy support. Manage 1 in 3 call days, not to exceed 10 days per month, while maintaining full procedure days. Maintain active membership in the Rex Hospital Medical Staff and meet Board Certification requirements in Internal Medicine. Provide patient care requiring high-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills for diagnosis. Communicate proficiently in English and hold a valid North Carolina Medical License and DEA registration.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Gastroenterologist
- ERCP experience
- Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
- Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff
- Meeting the Board Certification requirements
- Board Certified Internal Medicine
- DEA license
- ACLS certification
- North Carolina Medical License
- High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- 1 in 3 call days (not to exceed 10 days per month)
- Schedule/staff support to allow for full procedure days
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced GI provider
- Prior hospitalist experience
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Relocation available
