Job Summary
Gastroenterology Physician to diagnose, treat, and manage adult GI disorders, perform diagnostic procedures (colonoscopy, endoscopy including EGD, and capsule endoscopy), provide evidence-based care, educate patients, maintain accurate medical records, collaborate with referring physicians and specialists, participate in on-call duties, and stay current with advancements in gastroenterology within MSPB’s integrated care model.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to patient-centered care and team-based practice
Desired Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
- Florida medical license or ability to obtain
- Proficiency in endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call responsibilities
