Job Summary
Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care, evaluating patients with acute and chronic GI conditions including GERD, IBD, liver disease, and pancreatitis. Conduct hospital consults, rounding, and follow-up visits while assisting with pre- and post-procedure management for endoscopic procedures like EGD and colonoscopy. Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies, and collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams. Deliver patient education focused on diet, lifestyle modification, and medication management while participating in quality improvement and evidence-based digestive health initiatives. This role is ideal for an APP who enjoys a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative, procedure-focused specialty environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Washington State or eligible for licensure
- Board Certified (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP)
- Active/Eligible DEA registration
Desired Qualifications
- Gastroenterology experience preferred
- strong new graduates with relevant RN background may be considered
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
