Job Summary
Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant needed to join Infinite Medical P.C.’s nationwide APR team in NY skilled-nursing facilities. Provide comprehensive GI care, assess, diagnose, and treat residents, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and counsel residents and families. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, manage chronic GI conditions, and maintain person-centered care in a nursing-home setting. Requires active NP/PA license, DEA license, CPR/BCLS, Master’s in Nursing, graduation from an accredited NP program, and at least 1 year of gastroenterology experience, plus minimum 6 months in long-term care; ability to lift 20 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods. Attractive salary of $150,000-$200,000 per year plus benefits and sign-on; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
- DEA License
- CPR BCLS/BLS certified
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- A year of experience in Gastroenterology
- Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
