Job Summary
Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant needed to join Infinite Medical P.C. in a multi-facility NY LTC/Skilled Nursing setting. Provide comprehensive GI care to residents, assess, diagnose, treat GI diseases, and develop treatment plans. Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team. Role includes counseling residents and families, managing chronic conditions, and ensuring person-centered care in a nursing home environment. Requires active NP/PA license, DEA, CPR, Master's in Nursing, and at least 1 year of Gastroenterology experience, plus minimum 6 months in long-term care. Must lift up to 20 pounds and stand/walk up to 6-8 hours daily. Preferred EMR familiarity (Sigma, Visual, PCC); training provided. Competitive annual salary of $150k-$200k with benefits and a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
- DEA License
- CPR BCLS/BLS certified
- Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
- Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- A year of experience in Gastroenterology
- Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
- Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
