Job Summary
The Specialty Care - GI Health & Science Specialist engages GI practices in field-based, in-person interactions to drive launch and growth of GI therapies. Builds compliant relationships with HCPs and office staff, delivers approved promotional and disease-state messaging, identifies opportunities using knowledge of products, disease states, and market dynamics, and supports patient access through reimbursement/navigation resources. Partners with Therapeutic Area Specialists and KOLs to execute promotional strategies, supports formulary access and hubs, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Utilizes digital tools to plan, execute, and optimize territory activities and delivers high-impact customer engagement across assigned accounts; requires strong sales acumen, product/disease-state expertise, and ability to navigate complex reimbursement processes. This is a field-based, remote-position with travel within the assigned territory (Peoria, Springfield, Bloomington, Maryville, Granite City) and beyond as needed, and may include eligibility for relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree with 8+ years of work experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales or marketing
- Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards; no DUI/DWI in past 7 years
- U.S. work authorization
