Job Summary
Conduct gastroenterology patient care and manage IBD cases as a Master's level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Deliver clinical services within the regional service line while maintaining independent judgment and strong communication skills. Maintain current NP licensure in DC, Maryland, or Virginia, hold valid CPR certification, and complete required specialty training. This role offers fully paid malpractice coverage, a CME stipend, and retirement matching for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Maryland State and/or DC Board Examiners of Nurses
- 1-2 years 2 year experience as a nurse practitioner
- NP - Nurse Practitioner - Licensed in the District of Columbia Maryland or Virginia or any combination as required based on work location(s)
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days
