Job Summary
Gastroenterology Physician needed for locum tenens coverage in Augusta, ME. Responsibilities include performing endoscopies on weekdays (Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts) in outpatient and hospital settings; no required clinic coverage but optional if desired. Credentialing timeframe 8-10 weeks. AMN Healthcare coordinates travel, lodging, rentals, and transportation. Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or DO with license to practice medicine in the United States
- Board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology

- Locum tenens experience desirable
- Credentialing within 8-10 weeks
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Outpatient and hospital setting experience
