Job Summary
Gastroenterologist needed for a full-time, hospital-employed role across two Duke Lifepoint facilities in North Carolina (Frye Regional Medical Center in Clyde and Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde; travel-position structure with a 7-on/7-off block across both sites). Responsibilities include inpatient consultation and ED coverage with exclusive block time in Endoscopy/Surgical suites; no clinic requirement. Procedures include GI work and ERCP; hospitals are equipped with ERCP scopes. Support team includes Advanced Practice Providers and a dedicated Medical Assistant for care coordination. Benefits include a guaranteed base salary plus wRVU production bonus, malpractice coverage, sign-on bonus, student loan repayment, and residency stipend; no relocation required.
