Job Summary
Gastroenterology/Hepatology Faculty Opportunities — Open Rank at UTMB's John Sealy School of Medicine. Faculty will provide clinical care, teach learners across all levels, and pursue scholarship or research aligned with the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Positions may emphasize clinical service, education, research, hepatology, general endoscopy procedures, or advanced endoscopy depending on career interests. Includes an income package with salary commensurate with qualifications and a relocation allowance; located in Galveston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Texas
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency and a Gastroenterology Fellowship
- Demonstrated competence in EGD and colonoscopy procedures
- Commitment to clinical excellence and education
