Job Summary
Gastroenterology/Hepatology faculty opportunities at UTMB seeking board-certified/eligible gastroenterologists and/or hepatologists at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Roles include clinical care, teaching across learner levels, and pursuing scholarship or research aligned with the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Potential emphases include clinical service, education, hepatology, general endoscopy, or advanced endoscopy depending on expertise; collaborative work across specialties; relocation support available. Living in the South Houston/Galveston area is noted.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Texas
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency and a Gastroenterology Fellowship
- Demonstrated competence in EGD and colonoscopy procedures
