Job Summary
BE/BC Gastroenterologist sought to join UW Health Northern Illinois in Rockford as part of a community-based practice supported by UW Health’s quaternary resources. Collaborate with our interdisciplinary cancer team at the UW Health | Carbone Cancer Center Rockford, participate in weekly tumor boards and clinical trials, and engage in local teaching of rotating GI residents, fellows, and medical students. The role integrates a robust clinical program with opportunities for additional compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation support. Must hold MD or DO and licensure in Illinois; opportunity for participation in a high-volume digestive health program with strong market share and academic-affiliated resources.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (BC/BE Gastroenterology)
- Active Illinois medical license and DEA license, or ability to secure these prior to hire.
