Job Summary
Gastroenterologist sought to join a Division of Gastroenterology with a dynamic blend of clinical practice, teaching, research, and administrative leadership. Role includes clinical practice primarily in community settings with service weeks at UMass Memorial Medical Center, clinic schedule of 2 sessions/week, procedural schedule 6 sessions/week, academic/administrative time 2 sessions/week, and a night call rotation (1:7). Board-certified/eligible MD or DO with Massachusetts medical licensure; Epic EMR experience; opportunities for academic appointment, clinical research, quality improvement, and leadership within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. Located in Worcester, MA with a competitive compensation package.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologists holding an MD or DO degree
- Eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding patient-centered clinical care
- Passion for academic teaching and clinical research
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based, interdisciplinary environment
- Experience and enthusiasm for growing a community referral practice
