Job Summary
Gastroenterologist needed to join OSF St. Joseph Medical Center’s GI group in Bloomington-Normal, IL. ERCP trained preferable. Work with four gastroenterologists, two advanced practice providers, and a referral base of over 70 primary care physicians. Call schedule 1:4. Visa sponsorship options available (H1B). Board certified or eligible to practice; licensed to practice medicine in Illinois; eligible for Medicare/Medicaid participation; maintain malpractice coverage as required. Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma Center hospital serving the Bloomington-Normal community.
Required Qualifications
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
