Job Summary
Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in outpatient and inpatient settings, performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including EGD and colonoscopy. Evaluate and manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver disorders while collaborating with primary care physicians, surgeons, oncology, radiology, and hospital medicine teams. Participate in a shared call rotation with strong hospitalist support using EPIC EMR with integrated clinical workflows and endoscopy documentation tools. This role offers a balanced mix of clinic, procedures, and inpatient consultative care with excellent support, strong procedural volume, and long-term career stability within a large, community-focused healthcare system serving over 600,000 residents.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for Washington State medical license
- Active or eligible DEA registration
- Strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
