Job Summary
Gastroenterologist opportunity at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center on the hospital campus in Bellingham, WA. Join a collaborative GI team (4 physicians, 2 APCs) with a newly remodeling clinic and endoscopy center, dedicated endoscopy staff, block time at the hospital, and shared call support from a local GI group. Outpatient endoscopy predominates with 16-18 patients per day and 1.5–2 clinic days per week; ERCP is desired but not required. Compensation includes a salary guarantee of $579,560 with potential earnings over $700,000, relocation assistance, loan reimbursement, multiple retirement plans, and CME/well-being programs. The environment emphasizes work-life balance and clinician wellness, with modern equipment (Olympus scopes and washers) and opportunities in a Level II trauma center setting in Whatcom County. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent medical degree
- board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology
- eligible for medical licensure in Washington state
- ERCP experience desired but not required
- experience in outpatient endoscopy and hospital-based care preferred
