Job Summary
Locum Gastroenterologist needed near South Broadway, WA to start ASAP for ongoing coverage. 24-hour call with day inpatient MAC cases; provider takes call, performs MAC procedures, and participates in hospital rounding in an in-house, inpatient setting. Proficiency in upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, variceal management, ERCP, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, and PEG placement is required. Lower GI endoscopy including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision is also expected. Preferred skills include esophageal dilatation and manometry, and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. EMR system is Epic. WA license or IMLC is required; Board Certified gastroenterologist; Level 3 Trauma designation. Credentialing within 90 days. A $2,000 referral bonus is offered for referrals who work 30 days. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in WA or IMLC
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- ACLS and BLS
- Epic EMR experience
- Upper and Lower GI endoscopy with biopsy and therapeutic capabilities
- ERCP
- PEG placement
- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube experience preferred
- Inpatient, in-house call coverage
- 24-hour call availability
- Credentialing within 90 days
