Job Summary
Gastroenterologist needed for locum tenens inpatient coverage at a Des Moines-area facility. The clinician will provide 24-hour call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., manage 10-12 inpatients with APN support for rounding, and perform specialized gastroenterology procedures including ERCP and EUS while providing consults for hospitalized patients. Board certification is required for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Gastroenterology is required
- MD or DO medical degree
- Proficient in ERCP and EUS
- Inpatient hospital-based coverage with 24-hour call responsibilities
