Job Summary
Provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage with 24-hour call for hospitalized GI patients. Perform colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, hemorrhoidal banding, PEG placement, and management of acute GI bleeding including variceal banding and dilation. ERCP experience is highly preferred. Board-certified gastroenterologist with prescriptive authority. Inpatient locum-tenens assignment at a 286-bed Level II Trauma Center in North Dakota; duties include comprehensive GI care in an acute hospital setting.
