Gastroenterologist

Conduct comprehensive consultations, diagnoses, and treatment of gastrointestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, biliary, and nutritional diseases. Perform full range of gastroenterology procedures including colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy, dilation, ERCP, EUS, and enteroscopy. Manage clinic and endoscopy schedules with approximately 10-12 procedures per day, while providing on-call coverage for ER, family medicine residents, and inpatient consults. Exercise admitting privileges, write initial orders, and prepare detailed progress notes. Serve as attending physician on the Gastroenterology Consult service, participating in peer review, performance improvement, and teaching medical students and residents. Provide professional guidance to house staff and collaborate with Government personnel to assess and improve clinical quality. Maintain active state licensure, board certification, and current DEA registration.
