Job Summary
Gastroenterologist role in Hackensack Meridian Health's Central Region seeking experienced, board-certified clinicians to join a growing GI program. Responsibilities include performing GI endoscopy procedures, participating in teaching medical students and Internal Medicine residents, weekend/holiday/on-call assignments, and serving on Quality Improvement and Medical Staff committees. Administrative duties include participation in departmental and hospital committees and educational programs. Mentorship for scholarly activities and potential faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine are available. The posted base salary is $376,443 with comprehensive benefits; compensation and total rewards are contingent on factors including experience, leadership, productivity, and geographic location.
Required Qualifications
- M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Fellowship Training in Gastroenterology
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- New Jersey Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Valid DEA, CDS
