Job Summary
Gastroenterologist needed in Central New Jersey to join a growing Gastroenterology program. Responsibilities include clinical activities, teaching medical students and Internal Medicine residents where applicable, weekend/holiday/on-call coverage, performing gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures as required, and contributing to Quality Improvement and departmental committees. Mentorship for scholarly activities and potential faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine are offered. Requires MD/DO with fellowship in Gastroenterology, board certification in Gastroenterology, NJ medical license eligibility, and DEA/CDS credentials. Competitive base salary with comprehensive benefits; minimum base salary listed as $376,443 with the full compensation package discussed during interview. Experience in academic medicine, quality initiatives, and clinical leadership are encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Fellowship Training in Gastroenterology
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Have or have the ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License
- Valid DEA, CDS
