Job Summary
Gastroenterologist sought for Emory Healthcare, LaGrange Campus. Responsibilities include addressing patients' needs within licensure, training, and credentialing scope; providing patient care to fulfill physician duties and help generate adequate practice volume; participating in on-call duties and meetings; and practicing medicine in line with national patient safety goals. Requires MD/DO, Georgia medical license, and GI board eligibility or certification; DEA registration; outpatient experience preferred; and strong interpersonal and computer literacy skills. Full-time position in ESA Gastroenterology with campus location in LaGrange, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.)
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
- Board eligible or Board Certified preferred in Gastroenterology
- Valid DEA certificate without restriction
- Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate
