Job Summary
The physician will address patients' needs within the scope of licensing and credentialing, perform patient-care activities to fulfill duties as a Physician, participate in on-call duties, and actively participate in meetings and committees. Practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals, with board-eligible/board-certified Gastroenterology status, and will work in Emory Healthcare’s LaGrange outpatient clinics in Georgia. Requires MD or DO, valid Georgia license, and a DEA certificate; outpatient experience and strong interpersonal and computer skills are preferred. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Full-time placement at LaGrange, GA campus.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree (D.O.).
- valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
- Board eligible or Board Certified preferred
- valid DEA certificate without restriction
- Experience in outpatient medical practice preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Must be computer literate
- Board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology
- outstanding clinical, technical and interpersonal skills and training from top-rated institutions
