Job Summary

Board-certified Gastroenterologist opportunity at the VA Phoenix Health Care System. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive medical and selected GI services for inpatients and outpatients, performing upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy, and teaching/supervising physician trainees at multiple levels. Qualified candidates must be eligible for an academic appointment at the affiliate university; significant research training/experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., in Phoenix, AZ. Compensation includes a competitive salary with bonuses and an extensive benefits package; education debt reduction program (EDRP) available. Must be board-certified to receive CME days off and participate in EDRP per VA policy.

  • Gastroenterology specialty
  • Eligibility for academic appointment at affiliate university
