Job Summary
Gastroenterologist role focusing on a balanced mix of clinical practice, teaching, research, and administrative leadership within a Division of Gastroenterology. Responsibilities include clinical work across community settings and hospital campus, teaching, research, quality improvement, and leadership opportunities; procedural duties; weekly clinic and procedural schedules; academic appointment commensurate with experience; Epic EMR; night call rotation; and opportunities for leadership and community outreach. Located in Worcester, MA with integration into UMass Memorial Medical Center and an emphasis on patient-centered care in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologists
- MD or DO degree
- Massachusetts medical licensure eligibility
- commitment to patient-centered clinical care
- passion for academic teaching and clinical research
- ability to thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment
- experience growing a community referral practice
