Job Summary
Gastroenterologist needed for a full-time role joining a practice with two other physicians and two nurse practitioners. 40 hours per week with a call schedule covering emergent inpatient cases and occasional calls for prescriptions. Inpatient consults are shared with NPs. Typical schedule is 4 days of outpatient endoscopy and 1 day in the office, within the MaineHealth/Mid Coast Hospital Digestive Health Center. Must be MD/DO with board certification or eligibility; visa sponsorship considered. Current physicians in the department perform at the MGMA 80th percentile for productivity and compensation.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Able to consider visa sponsorship
