Job Summary
Gastroenterologist needed to join Albany Medical College's Division of Gastroenterology; responsibilities include performing endoscopic procedures in an advanced endoscopy suite with anesthesia support, collaborating with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists and GI pathologists, teaching medical students and trainees, conducting research and scholarly work, and providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a large academic health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or board certification in Gastroenterology
- Experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions
- Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
- Strong dedication to providing high-quality, patient centered care across diverse populations
