Job Summary
Gas turbine machinery industrial mechanic responsible for repair/overhaul and routine maintenance of General Electric and/or Siemens industrial gas turbines (RB211, AVON, LM2500, LM6000). Key duties include disassembly/assembly, cleaning, inspection, reading and interpreting blueprints/specifications, coordinating with production control, and mentoring less experienced technicians. Requires field maintenance, in-shop repairs, and adherence to OEM manuals and industry practices; deep knowledge of turbine components (bearings, seals, packing) and overall IGT overhaul processes. Must have college diploma in a related discipline, 3+ years of direct GE/Siemens turbine experience, and strong communication skills; on-site role with relocation support and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in related discipline
- Demonstrated track record in similar technical role
- Strong understanding of Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) maintenance, repair, and overhaul methodologies
- Minimum of three years direct experience with General Electric and/or Siemens gas turbines (RB211, AVON, LM2500, LM6000) preferred
