Job Summary
Deliver engaging, high-quality training to gas apprentices and learners by planning structured lessons aligned with qualification standards. Support students through practical workshop sessions and classroom learning, providing one-to-one and small group assistance while assessing progress and maintaining accurate records. Work closely with employers and internal teams to ensure learner success within a positive, inclusive environment. Keep up to date with industry developments and gas safety standards. This role is based at the brand-new Cleckheaton training centre, offering 37.5 hours per week with a competitive salary plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent)
- Strong industry experience in gas engineering and heating systems
- A passion for developing and supporting the next generation of engineers
- Confident communication and presentation skills
- A supportive, patient, and learner-focused approach
- Proof of qualifications
- Right to Work in the UK
Desired Qualifications
- Renewable energy experience (e.g. heat pumps, solar thermal, low-carbon technologies)
- Plumbing qualifications or broader smart energy experience
- Teaching and/or assessing qualifications (AET, DET, PGCE, TAQA or equivalent)
