Job Summary
The Gas Fuser/Pipefitter will be responsible for assembling, fusing, and maintaining natural gas pipeline systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key responsibilities include selecting pipe types, inspecting worksites, planning installation sequences, cutting and mounting pipes, securing pipes with brackets and clamps, testing for leaks, and transporting materials. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of gas pipefitting experience, possess Washington Gas Pipefitter OQs, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2yrs of Gas pipefitting preferred
- Washington Gas Pipefitter OQs required
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of codes
- Reading and understanding of blueprints
Additional Requirements
- This position requires compliance with the company and Federal Department of Transportation (FMSCA or PHMSA) drug testing policies and procedures for both pre-employment and continuing random.
