Job Summary
This entry-level, full-time position involves conducting meter readings of gas and electric meters. Essential responsibilities include safely reading meters, inspecting for defects, and interacting professionally with the public. Candidates should possess a valid driver's license, be prepared for outdoor work in various weather conditions, and demonstrate physical ability to walk up to 5 miles and perform various physical tasks. Training is provided, and benefits include medical insurance, 401k matching, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
- Ability to walk between 1 to 5 miles each day
- Enjoy working outdoors in various types of weather and terrain such as wooded, urban and rural areas.
- Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push and/or pull, twist and make repetitive hand movements.
- Sitting or standing for prolonged period of time required.
- Must have high school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates with outdoor, retail, or driving experience preferred.
