Gas Measurement Technician

Job Summary
Ensure accuracy of gas measurement equipment by installing, maintaining, monitoring, and analyzing production and sales measurement data. Collect electronic flow measurement data, install and configure hardware and software, and calibrate transducers and automated valve equipment. Troubleshoot upset conditions, respond to corrective work orders, and track results through Diamondback systems. Adhere to safety policies and support supervisors with in-field measurement applications. Work non-traditional and on-call hours including nights and weekends, with frequent travel to field locations and training sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of (2+) years of oil and gas experience
- Understanding of test vessels, piping, meters and O&G operations
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic computer skills and to learn company-specific applications
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Able to meet insurability standards to drive a company vehicle
- Able to work non-traditional and on-call hours, as needed (nights, weekends, etc.)
- Frequent travel to field locations training sites
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of a variety of EFM equipment: ABB, ROC, Fox Thermal, Scadapack
- Knowledge of software: PCCU, Emerson Field tools, Realflo, FT4X
- View Ability to communicate effectively among various teams
