Gas Maintenance Technician - Entry Level

Job Summary
Travel to store locations to provide gas maintenance repairs and services on fuel dispensers, environmental monitoring systems, underground storage tanks, and related equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, troubleshoot electrical and fueling systems, and perform repairs with moderate assistance. Carry a cell phone for emergency on-call services and ensure scheduled maintenance on the service truck. Maintain tools and parts inventory, conduct quality inspections on vendor work, and acquire all required certifications and licenses. Requires Monday–Friday, 40-hour minimum schedule with weekly and weekend on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Must be able to drive for extended periods as needed
- Must maintain a clean driving record
- Must be able to work safely in confined spaces as required by the role
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching overhead, bending, squatting, twisting, grasping, and performing repetitive movements
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, including cold and hot conditions
- Fuel dispenser manufacturer certification
- Weights and measures certifications
- Environmental monitoring systems certification
- Safety certifications
