Job Summary
Gas Locate Technician needed to perform field-based locating of gas lines using locating equipment, mark the area with paint and flags, and sometimes hand-dig to unearth lines. Responsibilities include developing knowledge of underground utility infrastructure, following damage-prevention guidelines, and potentially locating other utilities depending on project. Work is daytime, full-time with overtime/weekends/on-call as needed; requires travel locally and may include occasional out-of-area or overnight travel.
