Gas Inspector (Aberdeen, Inverness and surrounding area)

Gas Inspector responsible for inspecting, reporting and feeding back on gas safety standards delivered by registered businesses in the Aberdeen/Inverness and surrounding areas. Carry out inspections in line with risk model and contractual obligations with HSE, ensure inspections and reports meet service level agreements, liaise with registered businesses to ensure defects are understood and completed to standard and within timescales, and identify and act on unsafe or illegal gas work. Must hold ACS certificates (CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1) with potential additional ACS qualifications (LPG, Non-Domestic & Catering, LAU1, DAH1). Knowledge of Health & Safety, Building Regulations and related codes; ability to risk assess environments; CPD to maintain technical knowledge; capable of testing and inspecting gas installations; desirable Auditor qualification (D32/A1).
