Job Summary
Gas Distribution Inspector responsible for inspecting gas distribution construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project requirements. Role involves coordinating with clients and team members, inspecting contractors’ duties on pipe replacement projects (including squeezing, grounding, purging and PE pipe fitting installation 1/2” through 8”), maintaining operator qualifications, stopping work when necessary to prevent incidents, and completing all required documentation with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in pipeline inspection or industrial/construction related to pipeline construction
- Comfortable communicating with clients and providing excellent customer service
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- NACE CIP Level 1 (preferred)
- API 1169 Certification (preferred)
- Complete Paxon and client-specific Operator Qualifications
- Ability to stop work to maintain safety and quality
