Review court orders, wage garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders, then accurately enter them into payroll systems and determine correct withholding amounts. Prepare necessary notices and response forms while communicating with courts, creditors, and employees as needed. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by regularly auditing garnishment setups to maintain accurate payroll processing. Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience processing wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and bankruptcy notices
- Hands-on experience processing wage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and bankruptcy notices, preferably within a payroll service provider environment
Desired Qualifications
- A strong knowledge of federal (CCPA), state, and local garnishment and wage withholding laws
