Job Summary
Gardener/Horticulturalist role focused on owning day-to-day horticultural operations, leading a small crew (up to 2) across residential and commercial properties, planning and scheduling daily operations, applying best practices in pruning, fertilization, and pest/disease management, maintaining landscape beds, conducting client estimates, and supporting sales efforts. Requires strong horticultural knowledge, leadership ability, and hands-on quality landscape care; offers benefits and opportunities for growth. Includes winter snow operations and on-site documentation/photos for clients.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or a related field
- Strong pruning skills and experience with garden bed maintenance
- Solid knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs
- Experience with both organic and chemical treatments for pests, disease, and fungus control
- Valid driver’s license
- DOT Health Card required or ability to obtain
- Pesticide license and/or MCLP license is a plus
