Job Summary
Garden Center Team Member at Fleet Farm provides friendly, best-in-class customer service, greets customers, suggests products to increase sales, maintains endcaps and displays, assists with price changes, performs nightly department recovery, can operate cash register, assists with merchandise resets and freight flow coordination, and promotes the Fleet Farm loyalty program. Requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays; lifting up to 50 lbs; ability to work in indoor/outdoor environments; prior retail experience preferred; High School Diploma or GED preferred. The role focuses on in-store customer interactions, inventory readiness, and promotional support to drive sales.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required
- Previous retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and climb ladders is required
- Work in a variety of indoor and outdoor temperatures
