Job Summary
Garden Center Manager to oversee daily Madison store operations; lead and coach a team, hire/train staff, manage inventory, purchasing, and product displays; ensure a clean, safe, visually appealing environment and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the buying experience; knowledge of horticulture and garden center products preferred; strong leadership and communication skills required; associate degree in management, horticulture, or related field preferred; willingness to work nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in management, Horticulture, or related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience with POS systems, inventory control, purchasing, and database management
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, seasonal sales cycles, and garden center products preferred
- Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends
