Job Summary
The Garde Manger Assistant role involves assisting in the production of hot and cold cuisines for catering events, ensuring flawless execution and customer service. Candidates must possess culinary experience, flexibility in tasks, and the ability to adapt to changing menus. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of culinary experience in a Hotel, Resort or other food service establishments
- Knowledgeable in all the fundamentals of cooking, including sauces, stocks, and cooking techniques
- Physically able to lift 40+ lbs
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing menu needs
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and cleanliness
- Flexibility with daily tasks
