Job Summary
Valet position focused on providing a positive, safe, and efficient parking experience. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving vehicles, managing keys and vehicles, maintaining organization, and delivering exceptional guest service. Must read and write in English, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, pass a driving test on a manual transmission, and submit to background and RMV checks. Requires a valid driver’s license, a neat appearance, upbeat personality, and adherence to safety and attendance policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
- Be able to pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic
- Possess a neat and groomed appearance
- Ability to move quickly
- Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
- Ability to organize cars efficiently
- Maintain uniform standards when on job premises
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Be organized
- Be able to smile during customer interactions
- Maintain safety protocols and procedures
- Provide information about the garage, such as hours and promotions
- Provide exceptional guest experience
- Engage with guests in a positive and friendly manner
- Keep track of keys and vehicles
- Park customers’ vehicles safely and securely
- Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times
- Follow VPNE attendance policy
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices
- Help facilitate transition at end of shift
- Clean duties as assigned
