Garage Door - Service Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot and assess customer issues for residential and commercial garage doors, door openers, and keyless entry systems in newly constructed or existing homes. Review work order information for accuracy, record installation details including materials and supplies used, and ensure the job site is clean and safe. Work with warehouse staff for proper material loading and collaborate with the Service Coordinator for efficient routing. Ensure the truck is fueled, serviced, and stocked appropriately before each shift, while complying with all safety programs and company policies. Lift up to 80 pounds and use standard installation tools including ladders and power tools. Travel around the Metro Area including the Twin Cities, operating in diverse indoor and outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- An exceptional work ethic, motivation, and customer service oriented
- A commitment to follow safe work guidelines and provide high quality workmanship
- A clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Mechanical knowledge and skills using various hand and power tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Willingness to learn new products and take direction from manager on proper way to service/install
