Job Summary
Garage Door Sales & Technician role blending in-home consultative sales with hands-on mechanical work. Diagnose and fix residential and commercial garage door issues (springs, cables, openers, panels, etc.), perform installations and maintenance (including 24-point safety checks), and educate customers to close the sale on-site. Engage customers to understand needs, explain solutions, upsell premium services, and maintain accurate records for follow-ups. Collaboration with team for scheduling and larger installs, with emphasis on safety and hands-on problem solving. Strong communication, organizational skills, and physical ability (lifting up to 75+ lbs) are required; basic education of a high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license. Potential for high earnings through base plus commissions/bonuses.
