Job Summary
Ensure proper spelling and eligible writing of trainers and horses names on all workout cards and communicate via radio signal the proper horses and trainer names to the clockers. Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting potential issues to management. This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moderate noise exposure in a casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication skills in English
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations
- Ability to regularly stand
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
- Close vision
