Job Summary
Gaming Shift Manager (graveyard shift) needed to lead the Slot department at Running Creek Casino in Upper Lake, CA. Responsibilities include directing and evaluating Slot team members, ensuring compliance with casino policies and internal controls, monitoring floor activity, developing and implementing policies to improve security and efficiency, maintaining guest service standards, supervising slot transactions, ensuring compliance with federal currency reporting (Title 31), overseeing staffing, hosting guests, communicating promotions to the team, assisting in hiring and performance evaluations, and maintaining high standards of safety and operations in a high-volume casino environment. Required qualifications include age 21+, High School diploma or GED, 5 years slot experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience or an Associate Degree with 3 years slot experience and 1 year supervisory experience; strong computer, project management, organizational, communication, and numerical skills; ability to manage budgets and maintain confidentiality; physical ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years of Slot experience with at least 1 year Supervisory/Management experience OR Associate Degree in related field and 3 years Slot experience with at least 1 year Supervisory/Management experience
- Strong computer skills (word processing, databases, spreadsheets)
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to supervise and manage staffing
- Knowledge of currency reporting (Title 31)
- Ability to manage budgets and labor costs
- Ability to count large sums of money
