Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Manager & Manager, Food & Beverage or their designate, the Service Bartender supports Restaurant Dining Rooms and Bar operations by efficiently preparing high-quality beverages for servers and guests in a timely, professional manner. The role may focus on back-of-house drink preparation or guest-facing service, requiring strong beverage knowledge, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment. Responsibilities include delivering quality service, preparing drinks per standard recipes, tracking wastage, adhering to Smart Serve and AGCO regulations, maintaining bar setup and cleanliness, handling cash and POS transactions, ordering and controlling bar stock, inventory checks, training/mentoring the F&B General Helper, and supporting ongoing hospitality initiatives. Candidates should demonstrate a customer-focused attitude, a track record of guest service excellence, and flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in full-service bars/restaurants, with at least 1 year in bartending
- Cash handling and POS system experience
- Basic math, wine & liquor knowledge
- Bartending or mixology certification is an asset
- Food Handlers & Smart Serve Certification
- AGCO gaming license, as required
