Job Summary
Capture live video content at all Macon Mayhem home games and other team events, collaborating with staff to integrate footage into social media coverage and fan engagement highlights. Maintain a professional demeanor while representing the team, utilizing your own camera equipment and proficiency in professional video software to produce game highlights and solve problems on the fly. This role requires availability for all home games, reliable transportation to the Macon Coliseum, and the ability to work non-traditional hours within a team atmosphere. Course credit is available for this internship if desired.
Required Qualifications
- Must be local to the Macon area
- Must have reliable transportation to the Macon Coliseum
- Must have experience with capturing video of live events
- Must have own camera equipment
- Must be available for all Macon Mayhem home games
- Must be available for all Macon Mayhem home games
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Macon Coliseum on gamedays
- Ability to capture professional-level footage of live sports is required
- Proficiency in professional-level video software is required
- Access to your own video equipment is required
- A quick thinker who is able to follow directions as well as solve problems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Team player with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management and clientele
- Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere
Desired Qualifications
- strong preference to live sports
- Course credit is available for this internship if desired
- Knowledge of the game of hockey is strongly preferred
